Finding it early can make all the difference.
You don’t need to have any unusual symptoms in your breasts to need a mammogram. Having regular screening mammograms is the best way to find breast cancer early, before symptoms appear and when treatment may work better. In Alberta, women 45-74 years of age can self-refer to a clinic of their choice. Women 40-44 can self-refer after a one-time referral from their healthcare provider.
